Active principle of pigment and tattoo removal with the laser
SINON applies the principle of selective photothermolysis: The laser beam of the ruby laser penetrates the epidermis and unleashes its full effect in the pigments, which absorb the high laser energy. The high energy of the light causes the pigment or ink particles to self-destruct and to break up into very small particles. These fragments are partly excreted from the body through the lymphatic system and are partly eliminated directly through the skin as the wound heals. The epidermis is protected, no scars remain.
