The LEDA 635 red Applicators
High-power LEDs (Light Emitting Diodes) for Photodynamic Therapy (PDT) and Treatment of Wounds
Photodynamic therapy is being increasingly used for the treatment of actinic keratosis and basal cell carcinoma. Doctors also use the intense red light to help the wound-healing process.
The LEDA 635 red applicators provide you a light source with significant advantages: - The high light intensity shortens the treatment time.
- Water cooling lengthens applicator lifetime.
- You can add other LEDA applicators, such as the diode laser for epilation.

We offer two different 635 red applicators: - The treatment screen SCR 635 red with a treatment area of 16 x 10 cm
- The hand-held applicator HP 535 red with a treatment area of 5.5 x 3 cm
These applicators are the only LED system available with water-cooled LEDs. This allows us to achieve a much higher light intensity. - SCR 653 red: 120 mW/cm² (as compared to
~80 mW/cm² for air-cooled systems) - HP 653 red: 600 mW/cm²
