BURANE XL is the extended version of the Er:YAG laser system BURANE. With its special Triple Mode Technology, the laser offers you many additional treatment options. Two handpieces turn BURANE XL into a fractional laser system.
BURANE XL with Triple Mode Technology provides you with three treatment modes: Ablation Mode for classic ablative applications; the patented Thermal Mode for induction of heat and unique Combination Mode, which optimally combines ablation and warmth.
Ablation Mode for controlled ablation of soft tissue
In Ablation Mode, the Erbium:YAG laser BURANE XL ablates the treated tissue in controllable steps. BURANE XL removes superficial skin changes, renews the skin in a laser peeling and smoothes wrinkles and scars.
Thermal Mode for controlled induction of heat
The patented Thermal Mode is suited for gentle skin rejuvenation – the visible but non-invasive rejuvenation of the skin. A patented pulse series induces heat in deeper skin layers without ablating skin. The heat induced tightens the collagen structure and thus the skin surface. Fine lines are reduced; scars are visibly reduced. The redness, tenseness and itchiness of scars are decreased after only one treatment.
Combination Mode for an optimal skin resurfacing
Combination Mode combines ablative and thermal pulses highly effectively and therefore optimizes the treatment of deeper wrinkles and scars. The first skin layer is ablated and heat is controllably induced in deeper skin layers. The skin looks dramatically tighter and younger after only one treatment.
One step to a fractional laser system
You can transform BURANE XL into a fractional laser system in just a couple of seconds. Two handpieces are available for fractional laser treatments:
- FX4 with 4 mm spot size and a density of 460 points/cm²
- FX12 with 12 mm spot size and a density of 270 points/cm²
The handpieces ablate microscopically small areas of the skin surface with adjustable depth. This fractional use complements the treatment spectrum of the Er:YAG laser system BURANE XL: FX4 and FX12 are suited for skin rejuvenation, gentle smoothing of fine wrinkles as well as scars and reduction of unwanted pigmentations.
The ideal balance of ablated and non-treated tissue leads to very good aesthetic results with minimal side effects and a fast healing process. Fractional Combination Mode allows you to additionally induce heat in deeper skin layers, encouraging renewal of collagen.
