ARAMIS: Applications

Acne, skin changes such as acne scars and other scars and aging skin are ideal indications for the ER:Glass laser system ARAMIS. The wavelength of 1,540 nm applies thermal pulses deeply into the skin, where they are absorbed by the water in the tissue. The tissue is heated gently, specific structures of the skin are activated.

The laser treatment can be performed on face, neck and décolleté as well as on the back or hands.

Acne therapy with the Er:Glass laser system

The laser treatment of active acne directly addresses the problem: ARAMIS achieves long-lasting improvements after only a few treatments and reduces the risk of acne scars. The laser’s intense thermal energy selectively destroys the sebaceous glands in the skin and stops their over-production. The amount of bacteria on the glands is regulated. ARAMIS activates growth of antibacterial oxygen species and suppresses bacterial growth. Additionally, the laser light reduces inflammatory acne symptoms such as pustules and comedos.

Laser treatment of scars and acne scars

The laser can gently adapt acne scars and other scars to the surrounding, healthy skin: ARAMIS’ thermal energy stimulates the neo-synthesis of collagen in the connective tissue in deeper skin layers. New collagen tightens and refreshes the skin. The texture of the tissue is improved, small scars can vanish completely. The treatment is quick, pain-free and causes virtually no side-effects or downtime for the patient.

Laser remodeling: Gentle laser skin rejuvenation

The thermal activation of the collagen neo-synthesis makes ARAMIS well-suited for gentle skin rejuvenation. The laser stimulates the regeneration of the skin and the new collagen improves the skin texture. Small scars, wrinkles and the pore-size are reduced. The whole complexion looks tighter and fresher.
